Wet Brush Review + GIVEAWAY!

Sunday, February 24, 2019

Hello! I hope you’re all doing well! I’m glad the weather is finally warming up over here.

Today I wanted to share my thoughts on the Wet Brush*! I received this over the holidays to try out and I’ve been using it since. First off, the holiday themed designs of the brushes are so sparkly and festive! The one that I have is a beautiful royal blue with silver snowflakes and it makes brushing my hair more enjoyable haha.

Our hair is in its weakest state when it’s wet. It can easily break when we’re trying to brush through wet, tangled hair after a shower. The Wet Brush is designed to help detangle wet hair by gently loosening knots without having to pull hard with the brush. The bristles are very flexible. I do get knots in my hair after washing. I have long and thick hair so I was interested to see how it works with my hair type. I also have A LOT of hair so there are lots to brush through.

It's definitely much easier to brush through my hair, and I notice that I am using less force to pull the brush through my hair. My old brushes collect a lot of hair because it breaks or pulls out so much. With the Wet Brush there was overall much less hair collected.

I have also tried similar “wet/dry” brushes from another brands in the market. Comparing those to the Wet Brush, the Wet Brush still brushes through my hair smoother than the other ones. There's enough of a difference to note that it works better.

There are many variations and designs to choose from! They range from $9 for a travel size to $35 for fancier designs. You can get the Wet Brush from Walmart, Amazon, or online at their website here.
