Chicken Quiche Recipe


One of my new year goals was to cook a meal for my parents once a week. I've done it for the past three weeks so far and it has been great! For someone who doesn't enjoy cooking as much as others (aka me), it truly does feel like an accomplishment each time.

Today I'm sharing with you the recipe for a chicken quiche! It was quite good, and you can always have breakfast food anytime.


Chicken Quiche



Servings: 6

Ingredients:
- 1 (9 inch) frozen pie crust, thawed
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped red bell pepper
- 1 tbsp cooking oil
- 1 cup chopped & cooked chicken breast
- salt
- pepper
- garlic powder
- 3/4 cup shredded cheese
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 cup mayo

Steps:
1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
2. Cook the pepper and onions in a frying pan with some oil for three minutes over medium heat. Stir frequently.
3. Stir in the chicken. Add salt, pepper, and garlic powder for taste.
5. Spread a layer of the mixture in the thawed pie crust and spread some shredded cheese over it. Repeat with another layer of the mixture and cheese.
6. Combine the eggs, milk , and mayo. Mix until smooth. Add touches of salt, pepper, and garlic powder to taste. Pour it over the chicken mixture.
7. Bake in the oven for 35 minutes until inserted knife comes out clean.
