Last Minute Mother's Day Gift Ideas

Mother's Day is coming soon, what have you gotten to show your love and appreciation for your mom? If you're stumped on what you can get for her, here are some quick ideas for you! I've already gotten a few things for my mom from this very list! They're all accessible from local stores or it may inspire you to get variations of these suggestions. :)

*The products in this post were either purchased by myself or a PR sample sent to me for consideration (marked by an asterisk). All opinions are of my own.

Skincare

Skincare is always important, whether you're young or old. Moms would benefit from skincare especially as they transition to products that help with anti-aging. Moms deserve skincare products that work just as good as if they went to a spa!

AmorePacific launched a limited edition Green Tea Seed Treatment Oil* . The packaging is exquisite in it's cube case with the ceramic bottle sitting inside. It definitely represents luxury skincare. It helps restore liveliness from dull skin, rehydrates dry skin, and repairs any accumulated environmental damage. The oil also strengthens the natural lipid barrier of the skin, improves skin cell regeneration and elasticity, and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. You can get this at Sephora.

The Bota-Peptide Eye Contour* is an eye cream by the French brand G.M. Collin that targets fine lines, puffiness, and dark circles around the eye. It's great for all ages, but especially for the mums out there. You can read more about the eye cream in my brand focus post here! You can get this from any authorized retailer (find out the locations on their website here).

Kitchen

Moms who cook would love to keep their kitchen updated and equipped. Why not help her stock up in some great equipment?

One option is a knife set, with knives used for different tasks or ingredients. This set by Tomodachi, purchased from my local Costco, is so cute with the coloured knives! It's also very safe as each knife comes with its own sheath. Any full knife set would be beneficial for your mom!

Other kitchen ideas, all of which are easy to find and purchase, include:
- A KitchenAid stand mixer for the moms who like baking
- A set of colourful silicone cooking utensils
- Rack of different cooking herbs and spices
- A teapot with a candle warmer (like this one from Teavana here!)

Home

Moms who love jewellery and have rings they want to keep organized would enjoy this cute Eiffel Tower Ring Holder by Umbra! It's not too big but still makes a beautiful statement piece on their vanity. I found this at my local Winners and I got one for her and myself! Even if you can't find it, any sort of pretty jewellery organization would be loved by her!

For those moms who like reading, this bestseller by Marie Kondo had everyone running to the bookstore so that they can get their hands on it! I personally loved the book as well. "The Life-Changing Magic of Tidying Up" and its sequel "Spark Joy" have the cutest illustrations and concise words to help tidy up one's home. You can get this at your local bookstore.

Hopefully this can help you pick out something nice for your mum! Make sure you celebrate the special day with her as well!

Until next time, Des
