Matte Must-Haves

The matte look was the trend in 2015, and it's still going strong! I have days when I prefer having a dewy look or gloss on the lips, but I've also been one to follow this trend for the majority of time. Here are some of my matte must-haves:

Base:
- Make Up Forever Mat Velvet +
- L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte Foundation
Both of these foundations gives medium to high coverage and keeps the shine away.

Lips:
- Nars Velvet Matte Lip Pencil in Cruella
- L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Gloss in Bare Attraction
Whether it's a pencil or gloss, a vampy or nude look, these don't dry out the lips and give such pigmented colour.

Powder:
- Rimmel Stay Matte Long Lasting Pressed Powder in Natural
- Tarte Amazonian Clay 12-Hour Blush in Captivating
- Clinique Soft Pressed Powder Blusher in New Clover
One is to set, one is to create a beautiful/peachy/natural flush to the skin.

Eyes:
- MAC Eyeshadow in Red Brick (top left)
- Caryl Baker Visage Eyeshadow in Let's Hula (middle)
These two were the matte eyeshadows that were frequently used this month.

Extra:
- Boscia Black Charcoal Blotting Linens
When powder is not handy and I'm shining like a disco ball, these save the day (although I try not to rely on blotting papers as much).

What are some of your matte must haves?

Until next time, Des
