Review: Tresemme Volume Revolution Reverse Wash

When I received this package from the post and opened it, the first thing that came to mind was "Cool! Shampoo, conditioner, and styling cream to try out!". When I looked closer at the labels, I was fascinated at the fact that the first step to washing with this collection is to use the conditioner first as specified, followed by shampoo as the second step.

* Products are PR samples sent for consideration. Everything written is my own opinion.

Who can use it?
Anyone!

What is it?
This is Tresemme's newest line featuring the reverse wash. The formulation of each product is meant to volumize your hair. The conditioner and shampoo contain Fleximax Volumizers that help control static, infuse volume, and prep for styling.

When do you use it?
As normal in the shower.

How do you use it?
Use the conditioner first to soften. It binds to the cuticle to protect hair during washing, leaving it polished and smooth. Follow with the shampoo to wash away the weight and add the volume. After your hair has been dried, use the maximizer for even more volume and softness.

How much is it?
The conditioner and shampoo retails for $5.96 at Walmart while the hair maximizer is $7.96.

My thoughts?
I have a head of full, thick, and straight hair. These products DEFINITELY added volume to my hair! It's one of the few products where I actually saw changes and results after the first use. My hair didn't feel as weighed down, even though I have A LOT of hair. I don't know if it's suppose to work in this way but it actually helped my hair dry faster as well. The only downside is the fragrance of the shampoo and conditioner which I didn't love, but if scents usually don't bother you then it's nothing to worry about. I personally like shampoos that lather up really well in the shower because it makes it feel like my hair is getting well-cleaned. This one didn't as much. These products are good to use on coloured hair too, it doesn't wash it out or cause changes to the colour.
