Christmas Gift Guide 2015

I am not one of those last-minute shoppers for Christmas gift... in fact, I'm very much the opposite. Sometimes I'd find something and purchase it two months before Christmas even rolls around. I like to make sure that I'm not rushed into getting something random and that there's a big selection of items in store.

Here are some things that I found and believe are great gifts for an assortment of people!

For the one who's always in the kitchen whipping something up.

1. Ceramic butter dish: A cute and pretty way to store your butter in the kitchen.

2. Burlap style kitchen towels: Kitchen towels are always needed! This versatile reindeer print makes these usable all year round.

For the one who's always on-the-go.

3. French press travel mug: This can be used to make coffee or tea anytime. anywhere!

4. Glass Fruit Infuser Bottle: Glass bottles are popular because it's free of chemicals that plastic bottles may have. This one includes a removable detox infuser so you can add some yummy flavour to your water!

For the one who enjoys art.

5. "Hand-Lettering for Everyone" by Cristina Vanko: This book is brilliant for the individual who likes hand-lettering and calligraphy. It's an interactive workbook with pages of step-by-step guidance to find what lettering works for them and to explore new styles. There are many tips/tricks given to help them find their own quirkiness in their handwriting.

6. Art/typography print: It's a great piece for someone who enjoys some small inspiration and decor in their home/office. You can choose something that suits them, whether it's a picture, quote, or artwork!

7. Beautiful ornaments: The best ornaments are the ones that can be put on the tree AND be used as decor or paper holders during the rest of the year!

For the one who enjoys beauty and skincare.

8. Ours by Cheryl Hickey 24-Hr Face Cream: This face cream is affordable and effective, especially for people who worry about dry skin in the winter. It has a beautiful subtle fragrance of pear and it feels luxurious when applied! You can read my previous review on it here.

11. So...? Body Fragrance: Who doesn't want to smell sexy? Haha. This line of fragrances has several scents. This one has notes of blackcurrant, rose, and jasmine. It's a great piece to add to a gift or use as a stocking stuffer.

For the one who enjoys feeling warm and fuzzy.

10. Pompom knit beanie: It's so warm and cozy and cute! A very stylish and practical gift.

9. "Humans of New York" by Brandon Stanton: This book contains some of the most genuine, authentic, heartwarming anecdotes of people. It's a wonderful gift for someone who loves stories and culture.

What other gift ideas do you have?

Until next time, Des
